The last refuge

Work is worship

ನಾನೇನು ದೇವದಾಸನಲ್ಲ
ನನ್ನಂತ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ

It seems workoholism is the last refuge of the disappointed lover!

I found this kind of amusing - Ganapathi taking his mouse for a walk, with a colorful umbrella in hand...

Madhwa Pride

I had rarely heard this phrase a decade back, leave alone seeing it on a vehicle. You see this slogan now, you can be rest assured that the driver belongs to the Madhwa community.
Like I already told many times, wearing your religion on your sleeve is becoming a trend nowadays.
ಹರಿ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮ
ವಾಯು ಜೀವೋತ್ತಮ

The slogan on the car has plenty of Sanskrit grammatical mistakes though - liberal usage of visarga (ending with 'aha') when totally unnecessary. It should not be 'harihi', it should just be 'hari'. Even the 'learned' priests of today make the mistake of usage 'am' and 'aha' at inappropriate places, to make you feel like it is indeed Sanskrit!

I could not get a clearer snap of this "Gowdas" vehicle, which had an amusing poem:
ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು
ಚಂದಿರನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆಯುವ ಆಸೆ
ಆದರೆ ಆ ಆಸೆ ಬಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲ
ಬರೀ ಅಮಾವಾಸೆ

Drink n Drive

Don't drink and drive?? Too old!
Here is a new one - "Drink Coffee & Drive" :)

In the cacophony of Bangalore traffic, it is so ironic to find a vehicle with the slogan "Music Is Life"!

Traffic Tip

Start Early
Drive Slowly
Reach Safely

An auto rarely has a single slogan; taking into consideration the pictures of Shankar Nag, sharp daggers and broken hearts. Here is another one:
Beauty Just See And Enjoy
Don't Touch And Destroy

In today's times of over-religiosity, you can still see examples of co-existence in the most ordinary of places.
"Jesus loves you" on the outside.
"Hazrat Khwaja Garbun Nawaz" on the inside.
