Though "Anna Bond" is a popular Puneeth Rajkumar film, the phrase in itself is much older than the film. It basically describes an interesting personality, who is partly Bond (a larger than life figure, who does unbelievable things - real or imagined) and partly Anna ('local' who is accessible and affable)
