One More 'Manase'

Addressing the heart as if its a girl, yet another attempt at poetry here.

Also see the Kanaka Dasa photo on the window. By the way, did you ever wonder why you can see many Kanaka Dasa photos on vehicles/posters etc.(that too in the last decade) but not of Purandara Dasa, who was a contemporary philosopher, Carnatic composer and poet? The reason is that Kanaka Dasa was born in Kuruba community, who has been hijacked as a symbol of Kuruba pride. It is such a sad thing that great philosophers/thinkers who philosophize about greater things are always reduced to trivialities by their followers. Wearing the religion/caste pride explicitly on the sleeve is becoming an increasing phenomenon in the last decade or so among all religions/caste.
